Punch @ Punkin'

Punch Apparel had an awesome time at Punkin' Chunkin' over alloween weekend. Only armed with an array of delaware centric shirts, we had a great time representing upper Delaware down in Slower Lower. We even saw Young Glory III set a new World Record of 4483.51 Feet!

Punch @ the Chunk

Punch Apparel had a friggin' awesome time down at the Delaware's Own Punkin Chunkin over Halloween Weekend. Armed with an array of Delaware centric shirts, we certainly met a lot of new friends while representing Upper D down in Slower Lower! We even saw Young Glory III set a new World Record of 4483.51 Feet!

Chunkin What?

Hey look! A Blog! Dear Father, I have sinned. It has been (one, two, three, four?) many many months since my last post...

So, I write with exciting news. The Apparelers Punch will have a booth at the 23rd Annual World Championship Punkin Chunkin this weekend.

What is Punkin Chunkin you ask? It's the original competition to see how far one can toss, or "chunk" a Pumpkin. It's done with Air Cannons, Trebuchets, Catapults, and more. The Air Cannons keep coming close to a MILE but haven't made it yet. It's a born and bred Delaware event. It's a great time and lots of fun.

Anyway, we'll be there with Delaware centric attire, including our ORIGINAL Delawhere Stick Man (Now in Long Sleeve!), and some new designs just for Delaware. It's this weekend Friday, Oct 31 through Sunday Nov 2 down in Slower Lower. Hope to see you there!

Is this thing on?

Hey....did you know Punch Apparel has a blog? (We forgot)Did you know that Verhampshire is still "new" even though it debuted about a year ago? (It's true) Did you know we've been lazy as heck and have only concentrated on custom shirts, beer, skiing, beer, and 'legal issues'?
Well dear readers, things are gonna change....sometime soon. We're looking into ways to get our ideas to print faster. You may not realize this, but we come up with new shirt ideas all the time...but the issue is that it costs a lot for a first run of shirts, especially if you don't know if it's going to sell. We're streamlining the process to get the shirts from our heads to your chests faster. (That didn't come out right...) So maybe sometime soon, we'll have a new look, and new designs. In the meantime, take a look at what we DO have, and also consider us for your custom shirts. Kelly's Logan House in Wilmo just got a bunch of great shirts for St. Patty's Day.
Also, we took a trip up to Jay Peak, in VT this weekend. On the way back we stopped at White Castle for some sliders. Check out this picture of us, in front of a picture of our 1981, White Castle loving, counterparts.

    It's been a while

    It's been a while since I posted, and I wanted to share the news that the Punch Apparel Kickball Team, 2.0 is currently sporting a 2-0 record. We won last week 12-4. Experience must be the key! For more info on Kickball and other fun sports in Delaware, check out our friends at Delaware Sports League. And stay tuned for more D.S.L. themed merchandise coming your way from Punch.

    Also, the boys from Punch, the team, and a bunch of friends went to a crazy cool concert last week in Wilmo. Collective Old, i mean Soul, Live, and Counting Crows put on a pretty wicked show at Frawley Stadium, our municipal Minor League stadium. Seeing as how the stadium is so small, we were nice and close, probably 30 feet or so from the stage. One of us has pictures....but you know us. They'll probably get posted sometime in November.
